YBhg. Datuk Hj. Mohmad Shaid bin Mohd Taufek
Chairman

Datuk Hj. Mohmad Shaid bin Mohd Taufek, has served in Government for 34 years as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer. He held several positions in 11 different Departments/Ministries such as the Prime Minister's Department, and the State Secretary of Negeri Sembilan. His most recent post was as the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur from 2001 to 2004. While in the government, he sat on severals boards of Government Companies.

He is currently, a Brigadier General of the Territorial Army and now commanding the 508 Regiment Territorial Army, Negeri Sembilan. He is currently an exco member of Malaysian Council for the Prevention of Crime.

Datuk Hj. Mohmad Shaid bin Mohd Taufek graduated with BA (Hons) from University of Malaya and subsequently his diploma in Management Science from INTAN in 1977 and MBA from American University, Washington D.C, USA in 1982.
